20 Tons Steel Beams Omni-directional Transfer Trolley

This 20-ton omnidirectional transfer trolley is a battery-powered trackless heavy-duty handling vehicle specially customized for long, bulky, high-weight steel beams, H-beams, box girders, steel structure fabricated components and profile steel. Equipped with independent omnidirectional steering wheel system, it breaks the limitation of fixed rails and traditional forklifts, realizing flexible in-plant turnover of 20-ton heavy steel beams in narrow workshops, curved passages and compact production areas. It greatly improves handling safety, protects finished steel beam surfaces from collision deformation, and optimizes factory internal logistics efficiency.

Core Working Principle about heavy duty transporter

Omni-directional Steering System Adopts heavy-duty load-bearing steering drive units (differential steering hubs / heavy-duty Mecanum wheels optional). Each wheel set achieves independent rotation and driving, supporting multiple movement modes: forward & backward, lateral side shift, diagonal traveling, crab walking, and 360° zero-radius in-situ rotation. It can turn around in a small space without large turning radius.

Drive & Power System DC/AC variable frequency driving motors matched with heavy reducers output stable torque for 20-ton full load operation. Powered by industrial lead-acid battery or lithium battery, fully trackless design with no ground embedded rails, no damage to workshop floor.

Control System Dual control modes: wireless remote handheld controller + onboard fixed control panel. Stepless speed regulation, slow start & slow stop to prevent steel beam sliding and shaking during transportation.

Safety Protection Loop Integrates emergency stop button, anti-collision radar/infrared sensor, overload protection, low battery alarm, fault self-diagnosis and braking locking device.
