Structural characteristics
-Steering wheel: It is the core component of an omnidirectional steering wheel transport cart, which combines drive, steering, and suspension functions. The outer circumference of a wheel is usually equipped with multiple small rollers arranged at a certain angle, which can freely rotate around the axle to achieve multi-directional rolling.
-Transfer trolley's body: The frame is generally made of high-strength metal or composite materials to ensure the overall strength and stability of the cart. At the same time, in order to adapt to different application scenarios and load requirements, the structural design and size of the transport platform may vary.
Working principle
-Omnidirectional steering wheel battery transfer carts can move in any direction within a plane by controlling the steering angle and rotation speed of the steering wheel. For example, when it is necessary to go straight ahead, all the small wheels of the steering wheel should be kept aligned with the direction of the trolley's travel; When it is necessary to translate to the left, the small roller of the left steering wheel tilts to the left, and the small roller of the right steering wheel tilts to the right.

The steering principle of a battery powered trackless transfer carts with a steering wheel is to change the direction of the wheels through a steering wheel mechanism, thereby achieving vehicle steering. The steering wheel is generally installed at the front end or other parts of the vehicle. The steering wheel is usually composed of an electric motor, a reducer, a steering knuckle, etc. The motor transmits power to the steering knuckle through the reducer, driving the steering knuckle to rotate the wheels around the vertical axis, thereby changing the orientation of the wheels.
The control system of the heavy duty transporter sends control signals to the drive motor of the steering wheel based on the driver's operation or preset program. When steering is required, the control system will precisely control the rotation angle and speed of the motor, thereby driving the steering wheel to rotate to the corresponding angle. For example, when the transfer trolley is about to turn left, the control system will drive the steering wheel to turn left by a certain angle, causing the front end of the vehicle to turn left, and the vehicle will travel in the left direction. Due to the change in wheel direction, the direction of the vehicle's driving force also changes, thereby achieving steering.
