5 Ton Rail Transfer Cart

This turning-type rail transfer trolley is a professional heavy-duty industrial transport equipment specially developed for the handling and transportation of steel pipes and other long-size heavy workpieces. It perfectly adapts to complex rail layouts, including curved tracks, S-shaped tracks, circular tracks, and 90° intersecting track systems. Breaking the limitation of ordinary rail flat cars that only support straight-line travel, this steel pipe transfer cart is fitted with a premium steering guide mechanism, enabling continuous, smooth running on various curved tracks. For right-angle track crossings, it can be equipped with an electric track turntable to realize precise fixed-point steering. It is widely applied for cross-workshop heavy-load transportation and cyclic material delivery on automated production lines, becoming the ideal handling solution for steel pipe processing and metal fabrication workshops.

To suit flexible turning and heavy-load steel pipe transportation, the trolley's driving wheel set is equipped with lateral guide wheels and rotary bogies. Adopting tapered wheel rim design, the wheels can automatically compensate for the running distance difference between inner and outer rails during curve travel. This core design ensures the trolley passes stably and smoothly through continuous circular and S-shaped tracks without jitter, derailment or stuck conditions.

The 5 ton rail transfer trolley frame is integrally welded with box girder steel plates, delivering high structural rigidity, low center of gravity and excellent anti-rollover performance. It is resistant to deformation even under long-term heavy-load operation of super-long and heavy steel pipes. Matched with high-strength cast steel driving wheels and multiple groups of auxiliary side guide wheels, the transfer cart can effectively offset lateral thrust generated during turning operations. It greatly prevents derailment risks and reduces friction loss between wheels and rails, extending the service life of both the equipment and the track system.

Equipped with a variable frequency deceleration motor, the steel pipe rail transfer cart supports stepless speed regulation from 0 to 20m/min. It achieves low-speed stable turning and uniform operation, avoiding impact damage to steel pipe workpieces during transportation. Adopting battery-powered wireless cable-free operation mode, the trolley completely gets rid of cable layout restrictions. It is universally applicable for both short-distance and long-distance material handling inside the factory.
