The rail transfer cart in the foundry industry is an important equipment used for transporting materials, castings, molds, etc. in the foundry workshop. Track: usually laid with steel rails, providing a running path for transport carts. The laying of the track requires smoothness and firmness to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the transport cart. Drive device: The drive device varies according to different power supply methods. The rail transport cart powered by low-voltage rail obtains electricity through the contact between the wheels and the rail, and the driving motor drives the wheels to rotate; The battery powered transfer trolley relies on the onboard battery to provide power to the driving motor, enabling the vehicle to operate. Towing cable power supply is to directly connect the cable with the trolley body and supply power to the foundry heavy duty rail transfer cart through the cable. European customers ordered 7 rail transfer carts at once for the transportation of casting workpieces in their workshop. The load capacity of this batch of carts is 20T and 30T, and the running distance is relatively short, not exceeding 10 meters, so the customer ultimately chose cable power supply. The transfer cart has added a platform with standing personnel according to customer requirements, where workers can operate the transfer trolley from the platform, making it convenient and effortless. One of the transport carts is used to transport steel ladles. Due to the high temperature of the ladles, we use the form of laying refractory bricks on the platform to protect the electrical components of the rail car from high temperature damage. In addition, this transfer trolley is equipped with buffers at the front and rear of the body, which have collision avoidance functions. The wheel position is equipped with a rail scanner, which can clean the debris on the track and prevent the wheel from being damaged.
